Carla is the founder of Circle Quest Solutions (CQS) www.CircleQuestSolutions.com . Carla has over twenty years of experience working with a variety of population groups focusing on individuals and organizations with secondary trauma, suicide prevention, trauma-informed interviewing, trauma-focused care, social drivers/determinants of health and both protective and risk factors for overall health and well-being.
Carla grew up in a small town in Montana and at the age of 19, joined the military. After leaving the military she was a stay-at-home mom while taking college classes when she could. After graduating from NC State, she worked as a Juvenile Court Counselor for adolescents on probation and from this career, landed within the education system primarily teaching to those students who benefited from additional instruction and support.
When Carla is not working, Carla enjoys spending time with family, reading for pleasure, and grounding herself by working towards her goal of exploring all the National Parks and capturing her time through photos while also putting her thoughts onto paper and ultimately, into published material. Carla has found healing through the camera and writing her thoughts in cursive.
